My watercolour workshops provide an inclusive experience for all skill levels, life stages, and budgets. Why watercolour is my medium of preference in busyness and motherhood

Portability

Watercolour painting is highly portable, requiring minimal equipment. Artists can carry their paints, brushes, and paper with ease, making it an excellent choice for outdoor or travel painting (plein air).

Quick Drying

Watercolours dry quickly, allowing artists to work efficiently and make adjustments within a single session.

Ease of Cleanup

Unlike oil and acrylic painting, there is no need for solvents or mediums in watercolour. Cleanup is simple, requiring only water.

Minimal Setup

Artists can begin working with just a few essential tools, reducing the time and effort required to prepare for a painting session.

Hello there! I’m Kaye

Artist and Educator

Living in the vibrant city of Brisbane, Australia, and at my side are my wonderful husband and four beautiful children who keep me on my toes – and on my knees in prayer! Time seems to fly by, and I'm all too familiar with the whirlwind of busyness life can bring. Balancing the demands of the day with a yearning for creativity is a challenge I personally face.

I wholeheartedly understand that this longing to create and the obstacles in our way are not unique to me. In my case, it's been a dedicated nine-year voyage (through motherhood) filled with lessons and insights to share. And so I'm here, ready to equip you with the essential skills that will empower you to paint with confidence and ease. Regardless of the season, you find yourself in, my aim is to help you carve out time for your creative pursuits and to paint with unmatched skill and confidence.

I am committed to creating an enriching and educational environment where you can freely indulge your creative spirit. Regardless of your experience level, you'll find personalised guidance and one-on-one support. These workshops are here to help you explore watercolour techniques in depth, tapping into your full artistic potential.

I will generously share my expertise and ensure that each workshop leaves you with fresh skills, bolstered confidence, and a heightened appreciation for the wonders of watercolour painting. My goal is to see you enjoy the creative process and to continue to flourish, and with confidence, in your watercolour painting journey.

Workshops are 2.5 hours and all materials and refreshments are provided

All your questions answered!

  • No prior experience is usually required. Workshops cater to all skill levels from beginners to experienced artists.

  • Most watercolour workshops will have the materials provided for you. If on the rare occasion you need to supply your own I will provide you with a list of exactly what is needed.

  • Due to the limited number of spaces I will not be be able to refund cancellations less than 24 hours before the workshop. However I would love you to join me at a future workshop.
